Domaine Le Bout du Lieu, Orbe Noir, 2012, AOC Cahors A very fine wine with some bottle age that has given the dense tannins a chance to integrate beautifully into its sweet fruit. There is a bitter chocolate edge that comes from the wood aging. It has a dark and very structured aftertaste.
— WINE ENTHUSIAST, 2012
Small artisanal property, working in an excellent spirit and without great means: Arnaldo Dimani had the best inspirations (Mathieu Cosse) and really amazed us with his Empyree 2011, one of the possible summits of the appellation, wines to carafe two hours before the service.
— BETTANE ET DESSAUVE 2017
Over the course of the tastings, the Le Bout du Lieu estate is one of the properties in the valley that emerges most clearly in recent vintages. Its vineyard is built on 17 hectares of essentially alluvial soils divided between Saint Vincent Rive d'Olt, Parnac and Luzech. We feel in the estate's wines a great desire to seduce, while remaining faithful to the transcription of the data offered by the terroir: the passionate work of Arnaldo Dimani is visibly bearing fruit.
